ELIS Magnetic Resonance Tool/ EMRT

ELIS Magnetic Resonance Tool (EMRT) mainly measures the hydrogen nuclear response from the formation pore fluid. The results are not affected by the mineral composition of the rock skeleton. The spin-echo trains contains all important information, which can be used to evaluate the total porosity, effective porosity, movable porosity, permeability, quantitatively analyze the volume of free fluid, bound water, fluid typing and evaluate the reservoir productivity. The NMR technology has an obvious effect to the application of the complex reservoir, the low resistivity, the low porosity and low permeability reservoir.

Features:

l  Adopt the multi-frequency gradient magnetic field; it can detect the NMR response at radial various depths.

l  The eccentricity measurement design, which effectively reduce the influence of mud resistance.

l  Quantitative measure the permeability and porosity of movable fluid, capillary bound water and muddy bound water

l  Using shift spectrum and differential spectrum to identify the property of fluid.

l  Calculate the Pseudo capillary (driving pump pressure curve) and evaluate the reservoir productivity.

l  Calculate the pore size distribution.

Conditions:

Borehole diameter: 6 in. (152.4mm) to 16.00 in. (406mm)

Mud resistivity: ≥0.02 ohm∙m
