Recently, the “New Ecology, New Value and New Growth – 2023 Golden Bull Enterprise Sustainable Development Forum and the First Guoxin Cup ● ESG Golden Bull Award Ceremony” sponsored by China Securities Journal and other institutions was held in Jiangsu. COSL was committed to the ecological civilization of Xi Jinping, conscientiously implemented the major decisions and deployments of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on the “Carbon Peak Emissions and Carbon Neutrality” and the policy requirements of the relevant state departments, based on the new development stage to implement new development philosophy and create a new pattern of development. The Company has put 12 LNG standby vessels into operation in 2022 and carried out research on the application of methanol fuel in OSV vessels and the localization development of hydraulic workover rigs in 2023. The Company made precise efforts in aspects such as “vigorously promoting the clean and low-carbon energy substitution”, “developing new energy in a steady and orderly manner”, “strengthening the comprehensive utilization of energy and continuously promoting energy conservation and carbon reduction”, “promoting energy conservation and efficiency improvement in the production process and reducing the production energy consumption of products”, “accelerating the improvement of green and low-carbon infrastructure layout” and “vigorously developing carbon reduction and carbon neutrality technologies”.
