COSL is a leading geophysical services provider in offshore China which also plays an important role in the global geophysical services industry. We are a member of the International Association of Geophysical Contractors (IAGC). We own 7 seismic vessels and 4 geotech survey vessels, primarily engaging in seismic and construction survey and seismic data processing. In 2006, Asia’s first six-streamer seismic vessel COSL718 commenced operation. The first 8-streamer seismic vessel, COSL719, has been delivered for operation since March 2008,

Seismic Services

We have a fleet of eight seismic vessels, providing services include seismic analysis and offshore seismic data collection. The vessels are well equipped with modern seismic and navigational equipment and are capable of gathering both two dimensional and three dimensional high resolution seismic data. Our fleet has the capacity to collect up to 400,000 CDP kilometers seismic data per year. We operate a central processing center in Tianjin, a city in the northern China, which has the capacity processing 80,000 kilometers (49,712 miles) of 2-D seismic data and 10,000 square kilometres (3,861 miles) of 3-D seismic data per year. We also established a large database storing seismic data collected from offshore China.
