Geology & Reservoir Analysis Technology for Heavy Oil Recovery

Introduction

Combining with the characteristics of heavy oil reservoir and the existing reservoir engineering methods and theories, we carried out reservoir engineering researches and established the geology & reservoir analysis technologies for heavy oil recovery (using multi-component thermal fluid and steam), including five characterization technologies. It can put forward scientific and effective supporting stimulation measures for the efficient development of heavy oil, and provide services for the preparation of thermal recovery scheme of heavy oil field.

Applications

        The thermal recovery plan of more than 10 oilfields have been compiled with application of more than 30 wells in Bohai oilfield.
