The logging that understands the changes in yield and property of the produced fluid in single layer or section during the production of the oil-gas well includes the flow rate logging, density logging, holdup logging, temperature logging, pressure logging, etc.
The probing technique that the crawl device is used to run down the process and multi-probe measuring instrument system (SAT, RAT, CAT) could determine the production profile of the highly-deviated well and horizontal wells, thus providing basis for next stimulation measures. Meanwhile, this technology could solve the backflow problem of the production profile logging.
The radioactive CO and neutron lifetime technique are used to determine the remaining oil, gas saturation, water flooding layer and oil-gas-water interface of the adjustment wells, producing wells and others after casing, and provide basis for adjusting the well deployment, water shut-off and profile control. The Residual Oil Saturation Logging includes RPM logging technology and PNN logging technology.
RPM logging includes the pulse neutron capture (PNC) sigma measurement and oxygen and carbon ratio (C/O) measurement. RPM instrument can also be used to measure the velocity of water flow, channel detecting as well as three-phase circumferential holdup in horizontal well completed by tail pipes.
PNN logging monitors the remaining oil saturation of the thru-casing or thru-oil pipe reservoirs by measuring the changes in the remaining amount of thermal neutron in the formation along with the time. It covers the shortage of RPM instrument in the formation with low mineralization and low porosity, and could provide more precise gas/oil saturation.
The surface factor, production capacity, effect of stimulation measure as well as physical property parameter, pressure, type, boundary and other information of the oil-gas reservoir could be obtained through well testing interpretation.
The core to traditional method of well testing interpretation is to use semilog straight line analyzing method, and the most commonly used is the Horner Chart.
