ECNT, a kind of thermal neutron logging tool, consists of one neutron source and two probes.  Its long spacing and short spacing are measured with positive spacing.   ECNT uses the ratio of counting rate of thermal neutron measured from long and short spacing probes to reduce the formation capture performance and eliminate the impact of the well parameters, so as to better reflect the hydrogen content of the formation, and reflect the changes in porosity of the formation accurately.
