Overview:

The drilling and completion fluid engineering software VirtualMud of COSL has independent intellectual property rights. The software includes ProHydraulic module, PoreBridge module and WellBore Strengthening module. This software can help engineers calculate and predict the downhole temperature field, pressure field and cuttings migration during the design and construction stages, and simulate the prevention or plugging measures in the reservoir and non reservoir sections.

ProHydraulic module is a calculation module applied to fluid hydraulics during drilling. High precision simulation can predict and reduce downhole complexity.

The PoreBridge module is mainly used for the simulation calculation of shielding temporary plugging in the drilling process of sandstone reservoir. Through the analysis of reservoir pore diameter or leakage rate, a mechanical model is established and the material particle size ratio is optimized to achieve the effect of temporary plugging the reservoir and reduce reservoir damage.

The WellBore Strengthening module is mainly used for plugging calculation of downhole fracture leakage during drilling. Its function is to achieve fracture plugging, reduce leakage, widen pressure window and ensure downhole safety by simulating downhole fractures, adjusting plugging formula and particle matching ratio.

    Countermeasures:

    Determine wellbore cleaning through ECD;

    The performance and parameters of drilling fluid are recommended according to the well cleaning.

    Realize drilling to the end in one trip without midway circulation; The average penetration rate is 43.3m/hr;

    After drilling, pressure measurement and sampling while drilling shall be conducted for 5 hours, which shall be successfully completed;

    Realize the whole process straight up and hook free;

    Directly run 9-5/8 "casing to the bottom without hanging;

    The efficiency of the well section is increased for 33h.
